Young man unable to work

A young man who was treated for cancer as a child, is now finding as an adult that repercussions from that time are preventing him from being able to work, finding even the simplest of tasks a challenge.  He lives in sheltered accommodation and receives £231 per month in Universal Credit.  After his deductions for things such as energy costs, his mobile phone, TV Licence. travelling to hospital he is not left with enough money to purchase much in the way of food, often going hungry instead.  We agreed to send him £100 so he could stock up his cupboards and freezer.
