The man we helped is a young man who following being kicked out of the house by a family member had found himself homeless and on the streets. He has been with a homeless shelter for a few months, but has now been offered a permanent place to live. He has a learning disability, and struggles to communicate. His parents were killed in an accident when he was a young child, so he has no one else to look out for him. He was recently attacked and his attacker is now serving a prison sentence for this, so he is very vulnerable. He needs some things for his flat, so we agreed to send him £70 so that he could buy some items second hand from his local selling sites and pages.
