We were contacted today with respect to a family that had no credit on their electricity meter at all and their supplier was not able to help them again, as they had done so previously. The family faced not even being able to switch the lights on and any food in their fridge or freezer would spoil. We were able to quickly send them a small grant to help them get the lights back on again. Our referrer said they were working with the family so that hopefully they would not find themselves in the situation again. Thank you for helping this family. The single mother that this case refers to, sent us a message via her referee, which says, “Can I please add that XXX would like to express her gratitude, she has been quite overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity shown to her in a time of need.” So, those thanks are extended to you too that donate to us and allow us to help in the way that we do.
