A couple, both unable to work due to ill health and disability have a four year old son, who also has specific needs regarding his diet. Their fridge/freezer broke down, which means keeping their son’s food fresh, as well as dealing with spoiling food in this warmer weather is an issue. They have no family nearby that could help them in the short-term. We were asked if we could help with a new fridge/freezer for them, but we are not a large enough charity for that, so we agreed we would send over £80 so that they could source a good second hand one.
