Single Mum of five loses ESA

Our help was requested for a single mum of five children, who recently at an Employment Support Allowance, wasn’t awarded any points and subsequently her ESA was withdrawn.  This meant her housing benefits was also stopped so she is trying to survive on her tax credits alone, which so far is not going very well.  Our agents are helping the lady to apply for a hardship payment, and her landlord has provided her with a food parcel, and she has been given a food bank voucher.  We agreed to send across £150 so that she can buy food for her and the children.
