We were asked to help a lady who fled a difficult home situation with her two teenage children. The eldest child is epileptic and she herself suffers with fibromyalgia and is in constant pain. She worked as an architect until ill health left her unable to work anymore. Having fled the family home she has arrived in another part of the UK but was unable to bring with her any essential items she might need like a washing machine. She doesn’t have the strength or energy to take their clothes and bedding to the launderette, so a washing machine is essential. We agreed we would send across £80 to cover the cost of a reconditioned machine.
