Homeless team in need of underpants

A strange request, but one based in decency.  A homeless team that work on a daily basis with people that are street homeless told us about a situation where if you are on the streets and don’t have much in the way of belongings, often you only have the underpants you are standing up in, if that at all.  They try to keep themselves clean by washing them in public toilets and dry them under the hand dryer before putting them on again before they leave.  Their request was for some funds to buy enough pairs of underpants so that they could make sure that those they see daily can have a spare or first pair. We agreed to send them £75 so that they could stock up on some supplies.
