Man with learning difficulties in debt

We were approached to help a single man with learning difficulties who lives in supported accommodation.  He is unable to read or write and they have been concerned that he might be in a considerable amount of debt.  It has been very difficult to get him to let them know quite how much debt and so has taken some time to get the final figures.  He has given them the information and it comes to £10,000, so they need to apply for a debt relief order on his behalf.  However he does not have the necessary £90 to cover the fee to get this processed.  We offered to pay the £90 on his behalf and arranged to have a cheque sent out to be included with the application.
