This lady was late returning her renewal form for PIP (Personal Independence Payment) and so consequently the DWP closed down her claim. She was also told that her Employment Support Allowance claim was also closed and she had gone to being awarded 0 points, so no longer eligible to benefits. The impact of this is that she now is without any money coming in as well. She was due in hospital to have some day surgery on her feet and this will mean she will have to stay off her feet for a while, so she can properly recover. We agreed to send her £150 to help her out until our agents can get her benefits back in payment.
