A former teacher diagnosed with cancer is currently undergoing high dose chemotherapy and awaiting a stem cell transplant. She is a single parent and former teacher, now unable to work due to her diagnosis. She has no family and is no longer able to drive. She is struggling financially and was recently forced to move home through no fault of her own. We agreed to send her £150 to use towards food and energy costs.
