Our help was requested for a man who has uprooted himself and moved to another part of the country to support his daughter and her children following a relationship breakdown. He has just signed a tenancy on a flat in the area and is in need of some essential items, such as pots, pans, bedding, crockery etc. He has made a claim for Universal Credit but that won’t come into payment for some time. In the meantime we agreed to send him £75 to help him out, so he can go around the local charity shops and pick up some inexpensive second-hand items to get him started.
