Our help was needed this time for a lady who has been working as a carer for the past 15 years, working 7 days a week just to stay on top of her bills. The pressure of this has caused her to have two heart attacks, leaving her with ongoing problems. She has suffered domestic abuse in the past too, meaning she ended up loosing her home and is struggling to keep the one she is in now. She has been advised to apply for a debt relief order, but does not have the £90 fee to apply. We agreed to cover this for her, and offered an extra £40 to give her a little bit of a buffer.
