Our agents contacted us today about a man in his forties they’ve been helping who has recently been released from prison. He wants to avoid getting into trouble again and going back to jail so he has been doing all he can to engage with the service our agents are providing, as well as the Job Centre. He has been offered permanent accommodation but needed to find £100 to cover a necessary fee to be able to do this. We agreed that we would send across £150 to allow him some money to buy some essentials that he’ll need when moving into a new place.
