We were asked to help a young girl who has been struggling to cope in her current assisted living situation. She is regularly threatened and followed when she goes out to the supermarket, which means she often has to call the Police for assistance. She is a very young woman, a child carer to her mother, who recently died. Since then she has been all alone in the world and really finding it difficult to cope. She was in desperate need of £200 to go towards the deposit on her new home and unable to raise the money herself before the deadline of Monday 13th May. We agreed to send her the £200 as this amount, although higher than we would usually agree to, we could see could be life-changing for her.
