Our website went down temporarily this week, with no expectation, no explanation, nothing. One minute it was there, then it wasn’t. Happily, it sorted itself out and is now back again. Referrals are accepted on Mondays and Tuesdays only, with some payments being made on Wednesdays, but for now, we are closed to referrals on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. With all the requests, we are still super busy and struggling to play catch-up as usual. As budgets are being cut or closed elsewhere, we find more and more places finding their way to the door of our website seeking help. Remember, you need to have an established arrangement with us and be a professional organisation or body to be able to refer. We cannot accept direct referrals, so please don’t try to refer yourself and it’s never nice to say no. Get in contact with Citizens Advice or the Help through Hardship helpline, who are properly set up to give appropriate advice and carry out a benefits check.
