We were asked today to help a man who is in a huge amount of debt following being wrongly found fit for work last year. He has Crohns disease, and is seriously underweight as a result. His fridge has broken which is essential to him to store fresh food, and without it he will have to rely on convenience food which he can’t afford to buy anyhow. He is unable to afford to purchase a replacement fridge. We agreed to send him £150 to pay for a new fridge and give him a small buffer to buy some food with.
