We were contacted by a group that supports people, giving them the opportunity to a fresh start in life. This man was facing life on his own, following a brief spell in custody as he was no longer living with his wife on his release. All he had was a place to live, a bed and a kettle and was existing on sandwiches and junk food, the cost of which was prohibiting him from being able to save any money in order to purchase an oven. He can’t access food banks as mostly the food they have available requires cooking. We agreed to send across enough money to supply an oven, and our agents said that they could from this sum get someone qualified to install it for him.
