Our client in this case was a woman who had had all her benefits stopped, which meant she no longer had any money for gas or electricity so was staying with a friend. She’s not long ago had a hip replacement, and because of this had let her own home slide and is in need of some help and support. Our agents are helping her to resubmit her benefits claims, but it will be at least two weeks before she receives any money. We agreed to send across £100 to help her and our agents were going to supply her with a food voucher.
