Lady refused Employment Support Allowance

A lady in her early 40s, living with her adult son was refused Employment Support Allowance back in September last year when her claim came up for renewal, and her benefits payments stopped. She was working until 18 months ago, but had to stop due to a back injury.  Our agents are assisting her in applying for a discretionary housing payment to help with the bedroom tax situation, however the lady has a possession order against her for the property and is currently facing eviction as she is so far behind on her rent.  Currently she is living with her mother as she is at high risk of suicide, due to the depression that set in after she failed her ESA assessment.  Our agents are helping her to appeal the ESA decision and get her payments back into place.  We agreed to send her £100 to assist her.
