A lady was moved into refuge accommodation today and the group helping her discovered that she had run out of money. She is paid £230 per month to live off in Universal Credit payments. She is not due another payment until the end of February, so they were very concerned about how she would cope. We agreed to send her £100 so she could have money for food and fuel.
