We were contacted about a man who following a fall from a roof had been left unable to work. He is desperately in need of a vacuum cleaner and not having one is beginning to really get to him. He told our agents he was going to go without food so he might be able to stretch his benefits to be able to get a cheap one. They asked if we could help out, so we sent over £50 so he could be able to get a vacuum cleaner and still have money for food. Hopefully being able to keep where he lives clean and tidy will help to improve his self respect and mental health.
