We saw a call out on Social Media for a homeless man that had absolutely hit rock bottom. An outreach group had been helping him, and sufficient money had been raised to cover the cost of a deposit and the first weeks rent of a bedsit. However, despite that, he has absolutely nothing to take with him when he moves in, no plates, cups, a kettle, something to cook in, etc, etc. We discussed this between us and agreed to send over £85 to the people that were organising this on behalf of the man, as a contribution to be used to get some things together for him. Hopefully his benefits payments will soon be in place for him.
