Homeless man in need of help with deposit

Our agents contacted us to ask if we would consider helping a man in his late forties that had become homeless following a relationship breakdown.  They had finally been able to secure him a flat, in a location opposite to the church he attends, however, he has to raise £400 to cover the deposit.  The landlord is being helpful by allowing him to pay this over a six month period, but he is on such a tight budget putting enough away each month is going to be difficult for him.  We discussed the matter and decided to offer to send him £100 which could be used to cover his bills so it frees up some money for him to put towards the deposit.

Man finally off the streets

We were approached about some help for a man who has been living in a hostel for the past two years.  He has finally been given a place of his own, but needed £76 for the month in advance rent.  We agreed to helping with this and to round the amount up to £100 as he will need to purchase items to help him set up home.
