We had brought to our attention a food bank that was struggling to cope with the demand on its services. They had little or no food remaining and were concerned that they might not manage. They put a call out on social media for help and it was spotted by someone who contacted us to highlight their plight. As helping a foodbank potentially helps so many other people, we agreed to send them £100 so that they could purchase the supplies they were short of.
